Environmental Extremism Is Sending Us Straight to the Toilet

Well, check this link out to see where we are heading with all of our global warming/climate change obsessions. If the enviro-extremists have their way we will eventually live in caves and huts. I think it stinks!

Will someone please forward this to Sheryl Crow?
I think she would like to know.

In Honor of Black History: America, Be Careful for What You Ask of Government

The following link is to a very good article by Jeff Jacoby of the Boston Globe. He points out how it was government that instituted Jim Crow laws, and usually against the desire and economic well-being of free enterprise. Now we are in a time when our first Marxist President is waging a war against free enterprise, and his followers are looking to him and government as their "answer" and sustenance. The current administration and Congress is hellbent on imposing its Marxist agenda, and the innovation and creativity of America's free enterprise system will be shackled. There is nothing "progressive" about socialism/Marxism/fascism. The only thing that is being progressed with the current Federal government is government itself.

Is Alan Keyes Crazy?

Alan Keyes is one man in our day that does not operate by what others think of him. He has always been a strong advocate of the Constitution and the founding principles of this country. He has worn thin on a lot of people because of all the times he has run for office and lost. However, he served admirably under President Ronald Reagan, who said of him, "I've never known a more stout-hearted defender of a strong America than Alan Keyes." Under Reagan, he served as Ambassador to the U.N. and Assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations, and was also on the staff of the National Security Council. Here is the Wikipedia link to read more about Mr. Keyes.    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Keyes

At this time, Alan Keyes is saying some things and doing some things that are causing many to call him a "kook" or extremist. For example, he is still leading a lawsuit to determine the Constitutional eligibility of Barack Obama as President. The issue was glossed over in large part due to political correctness. No one wanted to stand in the way of the "first black man to be President." Mr. Keyes has some strong words in regards to this, and the radical agenda of Barack Obama. He does not mince his words.

Dutch MP faces trial over anti-Islam film

The "Religion of Peace," known as Islam never apologizes for its extreme element. Instead of giving us the "truth" in regards to the scrutiny it receives from those brave enough to expose it, it seeks to stamp out any voices of opposition. Hey, it kind of reminds me of the Marxists that have their hands on the reins of power in America right now. Geert Wilders, who produced the film Fitna, is now being faced with prosecution for exposing the truth and actually putting on film what most learned people already know.

Here is his film Fitna

Economics for Dummies

Milton Friedman is one of my "mentors." I just love how he taught and explained economics in a practical way that anyone could understand. Here is a great resource. It is the TV series Free to Choose that Milton and Rose Friedman did in 1980 on PBS of all places. Share it with your kids.

The Depressing "Stimulus"

When I first glanced at the article below, the first thought that came to my mind was, "What business does former president of Mexico, Ernesto Zedillo, have criticizing the U.S. for its fiscal policies." Mexico is certainly no model to follow (although with the current fascist policies in Washington, it is not so far from our current policies.) He does make a good point, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland; when he spoke of how poorer countries will be shut out of the capital markets.

These so called economic forums are nothing but meetings of socialist elitists, which include the U.S. now, that do nothing but come up with more schemes to take more control of peoples lives and livelihoods. They reject true economic liberty, because they are not truly about expanding the pie and allowing people to rise higher from whatever economic status they may be in. It is all about expanding the role of government. So now, in the perspective of their socialist world view of a constant or shrinking pie, the world government elites are worried that the pie is going to be divided up more towards the United States with the huge increase of government spending that just got passed.

This spending bill that Congress and the President just put into law is nothing but an accelerator of government spending and increased regulation. It is only the first fruits of a fascist agenda. Michael Ledeen had an excellent article at the link below on just what "fascism" means and why that is an accurate term for the current state of affairs in Washington.

It is very disconcerting to know that all this government spending is nothing but short term payoffs to socialist interest groups, but will straddle the next generations with a huge economic burden and drag on real economic growth that creates new opportunities. How ironic is it that the party that says it is all for the youth is in the process of committing economic child abuse? It is sickening. All these dollars from hard working Americans will be squandered in an instant as political payoffs.

The nerve of John Kerry the other day saying that we are too stupid to know how to spend and invest our own money.

It will be imperative at this time for bloggers for liberty to post the words of these Marxist throughout the internet and any other outlet. Let them hang by their own words. Perhaps some of the drones of our society will come to find out what these miscreants in Washington really think of them. As a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I see people with all kinds of struggles trying to raise their families. I pray for provision for my church to meet the needs of our people. And then I hear things like 30 million dollars going to protect field mice in San Franscisco. Those are hard earned dollars from real people, and the politicians have no compunction in how they allocate all these funds. It is sad.

One last thing, what is the point of all the machinations of the Congress when in the end they get a bill that no one reads and they pass it with no real debate? How many things that were taken out in the process, just get reinserted at final passage? These Marxists cannot stand Constitutional government. It gets in the way of their agenda. Which is why our President has said the Constiution that he swore to was deeply flawed.

More Snow Fun in Lilesville, NC, with Prince & Hugo

Well, I don't care what Al Gore thinks, it is cold. Here in my fair city of Lilesville, NC, we received two snows within two weeks. It hardly ever snows here. It will be 14 degrees tonight. That is warm to many parts of the country and world, but for my neck of the woods, 14 degrees is ch-ch-ch-chillyyyyyy. I know our little bit of snow is an insult to those who've been dealing with tremendous repercussions because of the winter weather. My heart goes out to all those who've been affected.

Once again, my two boys, Prince and Hugo, enjoyed frolicking in the snow. We only had about an inch where I live, and it is mostly gone as I type this, but it was enough to shut down our school system. We're just not well equipped for much ice and snow. If this "global warming" keeps up, my county will have to invest in some more equipment for clearing the ice and snow from the roads. When are people going to quit listening to the "experts" and check the thermometer for themselves. It's freezing out there. I have another word for global warming/climate change. It is a four letter word, just in case you are wondering Vice President Gaffoon Biden. The word is H O A X.

Well, I digressed. Here's more adventures of  Prince and Hugo enjoying the snow.

Here are links to previous snow reports from Lilesville with Prince & Hugo from a couple of weeks ago.
