One of my two maltipoos, Hugo, is
fascinated with my neighbor's Springer Spaniel named Candy. Every time
I bring my dogs outside, Hugo looks across the yard looking for Candy.
When she is there, they lock eyes for a while, and then Candy will ease
herself up to Hugo. Hugo has a little problem however. She is quite a
bit larger than he, and she is still pretty much a puppy. So when she
starts to play, he is overwhelmed by her size and exhuberance. She has
trouble taking a hint from him when he snaps back at her.
